Stepping back into the 1920’s at the iconic GG’s Bar, The Waldorf London chose to collaborate with Studio du Feu to enhance the timeless space that is Good Godfrey's Bar & Lounge. The project aimed to blend vintage elegance with modern allure, creating a space of glamour, cocktails, canapés, and people-watching. We were appointed to transform the space by using new furnishing and lighting to complement the existing dark oak panelling and ambience that makes the bar so renowned.

We introduced the space to a tapestry of textures, plush velvets and deep jewel tones contrasting with polished brass accents. Pushing the existing elegance to meet a more contemporary approach. A variety of furniture styles were used to create a well complimented layout that allows a flexible and comfortable space for all suggested occasions, crafting a space that epitomises luxury, sophistication, and comfort.
Keeping to the existing cosiness and warmth that is captured as you enter GG’s we used soft ambient lighting to cast a warm glow over both the existing and new design highlighting the Art Deco patterns and charm that is the Waldolf..
